New Zealand Spinach
Malabar Spinach
Amaranth
Orach
Roselle
Yard Long Beans
Peanuts
Cow Peas
Southern Peas
Sweet Potatoes
* Prepare for your garden by incorporating organic matter into the soil. Try planting vegetables in an attractive design which will add interest to your landscape.

    Do you under plant the spinach? I thought summer would be a bit hot for spinach?
    How do you plant the sweet potatoes? I have tried with no success before.

Both Egyptian spinach and malabar spinach are not true spinach they are a tropical heat loving substitute :) sweet potatoes are grown from slips, find a friend whom has had good luck and see if you can get slips from them, plant in sunny area, water well for about a week (my slip ratio of growth to death was 3:1) the hotter the better! You can also eat the leaves cooked for more summer greens!
